In this Italian recipe, spices are mixed with mustard paste and oil and baked. If you have time, marinate the chicken for an hour or two before baking.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tblsp Dijon mustard paste
  • 2 tblsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 boneless chicken breast halves

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix Dijon mustard,oil, Italian dressing and garlic powder ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Add chicken and toss to coat well.
  3. Bake at 375* for 20 minutes, or until done.

    I am baking chicken breasts. The recipe calls for Dijon style mustard (for the Honey Mustard glaze. I only have spicy brown mustard and regular mustard. Do you think it will be okay to use them? If not how can I make Dijon mustard? If I don’t have the ingredients to make the Dijon should I use regular mustard or spicy brown?
